EASipanel was invented at Spa Laminates, Leeds, 22 years ago when the chief engineer at the time realised a modern way of recreating the traditional Tongue & Groove look, with a modern material – MDF, a high quality MR MDF, responsibly forested of course [FSC UK Mark)

The idea was to provide the public with an easy way of applying a wall panelling system easily, cost effectively and without the labour that traditional cladding would demand.

The customers would then have a smooth surface which is ideal to paint without the worry of any sap seeping knots.

Using MDF, we knew the customer wouldn’t have the shrinking and cracking usually associated with other softwoods.

Making the MDF 6mm thick, the panel can be fitted onto existing skirting and is easier to handle.

Even though it is thinner than any other panelling that has come along since, it is still sturdy and has been engineered with a grooving and embossing system that gives the panelling the beaded effect and the natural woodgrain finish if required, without compromising quality or stability.

It really is a unique product in its own right.
